About the project

The project “Just Transition of the Ladyzhyn Community: Development through Participation and Partnership”, implemented by the Civil Society Development Forum NGO, aims to involve residents, civil society organisations and initiative groups in developing shared decisions for the community’s development. In particular, the Community Charter is being updated to set out clear civic participation mechanisms, and the Academy of Participatory Just Transition is being prepared.

This material was created within the project “Just Transition of the Ladyzhyn Community: Development through Participation and Partnership” of the Civil Society Development Forum NGO in cooperation with the Association of Coal Communities of Ukraine, Ladyzhyn City Council and the Municipal Institution “Local Economic Development Agency of Ladyzhyn”, with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE).
