Brief about of the CSDF NGO

The Civil Society Development Forum (NGO CSDF) is a professional scientific and expert organization advocating for the rights and freedoms of residents to participate continuously in inclusive, evidence-based decision-making processes for the sustainable development of communities, municipalities, and countries amidst global transformational challenges and uncertainty, through the development of digital participatory democracy and the implementation of multi-level digital agent-based governance standards in Ukraine, the Eastern Partnership countries, and the EU.

Founded on April 17, 2014, our organization is ISO 9001:2015 certified, has implemented a Code of Internal Policies, holds 15 patents and copyright certificates, and has invented and developed the DIY4Change scientific innovative method and an ecosystem of 21 digital tools that reduce the workload by 1.97 times while increasing the effectiveness of officials and NGO representatives. Three specific tools are internationally recognized as official Council of Europe methodologies. We successfully operate in 8 countries. We have implemented over 265 international, national, and local projects in public administration, strategic planning, advocacy, and participatory project management. We specialize in participatory monitoring and evaluation of government authorities at various levels, international grant programs, NGOs, and the implementation of projects, development strategies, and recovery plans. We provide public services for the automation and optimization of organizational workflows and carry out the digital transformation of existing and the implementation of new public participation mechanisms. We execute project tasks for the Council of Europe, UNDP, GIZ, and the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development, Germany, and maintain stable partnerships with 3 central executive bodies, 65 local self-governments, and over 50 NGOs. In 2025, adding to the previous two, we received two new National Records of Ukraine for the most effective digital engagement of residents in decision-making.
