Throughout 2023, experts of our organization CSDF NGO

  • prepared new training programs: 20,
  • conducted author trainings: 20,
  • provided expert support to 18 LGUs, in particular in terms of developing and updating development strategies: 5, integration of internally displaced persons – 4, implementation of new methods – 9,
  • interacted and strengthened the ability to influence the decisions of the authorities and monitor and evaluate their decisions, projects and their own activities of 55 non-governmental organizations,
  • trained 126 certified experts,
  • organized and conducted trainings for 323 participants from 38 communities,
  • 1903 participants were involved in 14 consultation events.

As members of the official Ukrainian delegation, our experts took part in the Global Summit of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) in Tallinn, 2023.
Together with the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, we took part in the development of the updated action plan of the OGP Ukraine 2023-2024 “Ukraine Update” and participated in its implementation, development of a new action plan of the National Strategy for the Promotion of Civil Society Development in Ukraine.
Together with the EGAP project, they conducted a large-scale study of the effectiveness and impact of the use of 5 e-tools of public participation in 420 communities connected to the eDEM platform – provided recommendations for further improvement of the system.

  • 2019 – UNDP Ukraine / UNDP in Ukraine, in the field of “Civil Society for the Development of Democracy and Human Rights in Ukraine” – the project “Pilot implementation of the All-Ukrainian participatory budgeting in the regions of Ukraine.
  • 2018 – Since 2018, within the framework of concluded contracts, we have been carrying out the tasks of the Council of Europe project in Ukraine

Our experience working with international donors (UKAID, USAID, UNDP, EU):

Right now (January – February 2024) we are working together with UNDP and UKAID on implementing a three-module training program on project cycle management, partnership building and resource mobilization in Lviv region in partnership with the Lviv Regional State (Military) Administration. The training program is aimed at civil servants – officials of the LRSA.

February 2024: organization and conducting of the author’s training “USE OF GAME APPROACHES IN PUBLIC ACTIVITIES” commissioned by the USAID project and «Nova Druzhkivka” NGO.

2023 year:

  • organized and held a participatory workshop “Involvement of the potential of internally displaced persons in the sustainable development of the Lutsk community” in the conditions of war and the post-war period – commissioned by UNDP in Ukraine under the “Strengthened partnership for sustainable recovery” project intitiative with the support of the Government of Sweden;
  • participation in the organization, methodological support and thematic training on “Monitoring and evaluation” at the interregional seminar “Inclusive and gender-sensitive approach to sustainable development of communities” commissioned by UNDP in Ukraine under the “Strengthened partnership for sustainable recovery” project intitiative with the support of the Government of Sweden;

Development of the first IT module for conducting public consultations and selection of target groups in Ukraine (undergoing testing)
Development of a unique 4-hour game with elements of added digital reality, which teaches interaction between the authorities and the community as an example of solving real city problems
Developed a series of game-based trainings UChange LIVE: Community, School PBConducting trainings, facilitation, moderation within the framework of two international events “Engage Citizens in Local Decision-Making!”  Council of Europe: “Winter School on Participatory Democracy Tools”, Tbilisi, Georgia, and “School on Participatory Democracy”, the island of Cres, the Republic of Croatia, to build the capacity of state authorities and civil society institutions of 6 member states of the Council of Europe in the field of proper democratic governance (the Republic of Croatia,  the Republic of Kosovo, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia, the Republic of Serbia, and the Republic of Turkey).Development and implementation of three national and one international (Georgia) certification training programs “CivicLab Methodology Specialist/Expert” – 23 national and 6 international representatives of authorities and CSOs were certified.Supported by Eurasia Foundation, USAID, the following was developed and implemented: Advanced Advocacy Boot Camps for 40 researches, think tank, transparency advocates from the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan.
